Eliza Coale Funk papers
The Eliza Coale Funk Papers span more than 200 years of Maryland history, from roughly 1758 until 2004 and focus on the Chase, Coale, and Funk families.
Ethnic Heritage Project papers
The Ethnic Heritage Project papers are a collection of fifteen family history research papers written for the Ethnic Heritage Project and a course given at Towson State University entitled "Social History of the U.S." Most of the papers describe the history of the student's great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and own generations, with some brief mentions of earlier ancestors. Some of the projects also contain photographs of family memberrs.
Frederick County Historical Society collection
This is an artificial collection consisting of photocopies of original material owned by the Historical Society of Frederick County. The collection contains correspondence, genealogical information and some legal papers relative to Frederick County families from 1741-1935. The bulk of the material falls in the period of the Civil War.
George Riggs Gaither III: the history of the Gaithers in America
Unpublished, handwritten manuscript entitled "The History of the Gaithers in America," authored by George Riggs Gaither III (1858-1921). The history spans the emigration of the first Gaithers to America in the 17th century to descendants in the 19th century.
Getzendanner genealogy notes
This collection consists of correspondence, notes, deeds, wills and plats relating to the Getzendanner family and related branches. Edna Irene Schulz compiled the data that remains in note form.
Gough-Carroll papers
This collection primarily contains legal and personal papers of Harry Dorsey Gough (1745-1808) as well as some business and personal correspondence of Harry Dorsey Gough Carroll (1797-1866).
Griffin-Murray-Studds-Douty family manuscript collection
This collection contains correspondence and ephemera related to the Griffin, Murray, Studds, and Douty families. This includes such documents as letters between family members, birth certificates, and death notices. Of particular interest is correspondence from William M. Griffin to his mother and siblings during his service with the Union Army.
Harry Lee Benson collection
This collection contains file cards, maps, notes, drawings, and photostats all collected or created by Harry Lee Benson (1880-1949) and relating to land grants on the Eastern Shore in early Maryland. The collection also includes genealogical charts of Benson, Adams, Purnell, Wilson, and other families from Worcester County.
Hepbron-Jackson family papers
This collection contains correspondence, farm records, wills, deeds, financial records and a genealogical compilation of family history related to the Hepbron and Jackson families of Kent County, Maryland and Loudon County, Virginia, circa 1677-1958.
Hicks correspondence
This collection contains correspondence to and from members of the Hicks family, 1833-1883. The primary correspondents include Captain Ratcliffe Hicks, his sons Charles R. Hicks and Alfred Hicks, his daughter Elizabeth Hicks Harding, and her husband, William Harding. The letters contain news on family and business affairs, chiefly news of sea trade.
